I am going to create a list of those people that used their imaginations to create something great that inspired others. These were the first people that jumped into my head, but I will be adding to the list from time to time. Please let me know if there is anyone you would like to see on the list.
disney, henson, spielberg, lucas, and sendak are a few of my faves too!! a few others on my list are robert crumb, h.r. giger, brian froud, jack davis, mort drucker, frank frazetta, and chuck jones! :)
ReplyDeleteHey Greg, those are all good names and wonderful artists. My list is those that have taken their art to a new level or created a new innovation. In the case of Spielberg and Lucas they both not only changed the way movies were made but also revamped the entire movie industry. I would say Robert Crumb could be added since he took comics to a new level and brought a fresh perspective to the work. I am also going to add J.R. Tolkien.
